About
I was born in Fort Wayne Indiana. I was raised by artistic parents in Oak Park, Illinois. My mother was a graphic designer and educator who now devotes her time to weaving, and my father is an architect. I currently have a home and studio in Forest Park, Illinois. I have a BFA in Studio Arts from Columbia College Chicago and a MFA in Printmaking from California State University, Long Beach. I currently teach printmaking in the fine arts program full-time at Governors State University. My work pushes the boundaries of classic relief printmaking. I incorporate my prints in large scale mixed media pieces and soft sculptures.
